James E Ball

James Ball has been in public accounting practice since 1979. He originally commenced his career in education and then trained with KPMG in audit and business services for 6 years. He worked in business organisations before commencing his own practice in 1985. The practice has grown and diversified rapidly in this time. He brings a broad knowledge of audit, taxation and corporate law to the practice. As the principal he endeavours to provide a friendly efficient service and to always be contactable by his clients.

Fiona Diamond

Fiona Diamond has a broad range of experience including external and internal audit, Commercial Management, Financial Reporting and Planning. Originally qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Fiona moved to CSR Limited as Senior Internal Auditor. Most recently, Fiona was Global Planning Manager for Southcorp Limited, responsible for the Board Reporting and Budgeting and Planning of the global business, with sales in excess of $1bn. Fiona also owns a bar-restaurant business with her husband and it's challenges and rewards has enabled her to further appreciate the practicalities of owning and operating a business.

Sondra Clifford 

Sondra Clifford is a superannuation specialist with over 10 years experience in the industry.  Sondra has previously worked for Tyndall & Royal & Sun Alliance in the superannuation area.  Sondra is a Certified Practicing Accountant who has completed Financial Planning courses.

Helen Ritchie - MYOB Support

Helen has worked with James as MYOB bookkeeper and consultant for 20 years. She has considerable MYOB experience and provides services directly to James's clients. If any bookkeeping services are required for your business, please contact this office.

Michael Kenyon - Bay Financial Services Pty Ltd

Michael is an Authorized Representative of Financial Service Partners Pty Ltd and has worked in the Financial Services Industry since 1971 in a variety of roles with a major bank and several large insurance companies. Most recently he was the Chief Investments Officer of an insurance company responsible for the management of funds in excess of $6bn. Michael has a Bachelor of Economics and Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning).

Rachel McCaslin - Administrative Assistant

Rachel is our part time administrator and receptionist. Rachel joined James E Ball & Co in January 2007 after three years teaching at Port Vila International School in Vanuatu. Her previous background includes ten years as an administrator at the University of Newcastle, NSW.
